The Airén grapes were sourced from a vineyard on chalky soils planted in 1940 by the great-grandparents of cousins Jesus and Julian Ajenjo of #GarageWines. They have paid homáge to them in this outstanding bottle of this lesser-known varietal.
In the glass, the Airen has a pale straw colour with hints of green, reflecting its youthful vibrancy. There is a subtle floral aspect present on the nose, reminiscent of white flowers, lending an elegant and refreshing quality to the wine. The Airen is bright and has zesty acidity. There is a refreshing burst of green apple and citrus, with a pleasant mineral undertone, that adds depth and complexity to the overall taste experience. Another superb #GarageWines production.

100% Sauvignon Blanc - 12.5% abv.
This Sauvignon will rock your senses. The fruit concentration is fantastic providing a depth of flavour rising above other NZ sauvignons, and an unusual and moreish mineral finish. The acid is incredibly well-balanced, and elevates the green apple and gooseberry notes. If you love Sauvignon, buy this; if you hate Sauvignon, let this momentarily change your mind.
The palate is rich, bright and zesty with a slight briny tang. There are hints of blackcurrant and grapefruit too. This wine has a real intensity of fruit, with a lovely crisp, mineral finish.

100% Monastrell - 13.4% abv.
For the more adventurous among you, this wine made me stop and think. The rollercoaster ride this Pet-Nat took me on was unexpected. Raspberry, balsamic undertones add to the fresh and fruity, clean finish. It almost has a flemish red ale character, mind-boggling! Hand-harvested from bush-trained, non-irrigated, 30 yrs old vines, this is a true expression of Monastrell in its natural environment.

Chardonnay 50% / Pinot Noir 37% / Pinot `Meunier 13% - 12% abv.
Mike Smith and John Ball’s Classic Cuvee is a great example of just how far English winemaking has come in recent years. The Bollinger of English sparkling wines, this is fresh, floral and persistent. Only the very best fruit is carefully selected and harvested by hand. Partial fermentation in old Burgundian oak barrels followed by extended bottle ageing for a minimum of three years imparts depth, richness and complexity to this wine.
A rich, yet refined English sparkling wine with opulence, texture and finesse. Attractive pale lemon in colour. Delightful notes of citrus fruit and baked apples are layered with a biscuity richness and delicious hint of hazelnut leading to a long, beautifully balanced finish.

A very fine Albariño from arguably the top Albariño producer in the Rias Baixas Region. This is floral, green and fresh with a clean finish. The quality of winemaking shines through in the clarity of the fruit. Classic in style it definitely will not disappoint.
Aromas of nectarine, fresh figs, orange zest and white flowers. Dry, citrus flavours and a mineral-driven finish, which expands and deepens on the tail end. Offering a satisfying balance of power and finesse.

A classic Provence rosé, this is an easy-drinking wine and a crowd-pleaser. Fresh and appealing, this lychee coloured wine offers white flowers and red berries on the nose with a hint of grapefruit. The flavours are complex, dominated by ripe tropical fruits and balanced by a lovely mineral structure.
